ITEC Energy successfully delivered a turnkey control and automation solution for the calorifier system at QatarEnergy’s headquarters. The scope included the supply of a custom-engineered PLC-based control panels designed to maintain optimal hot water temperatures with high precision. The project encompassed the installation of temperature sensors, cable pulling, cable tray and conduit works, termination of field devices, and junction box integration.
ITEC Energy also executed loop checking, I/O testing, and commissioning of the system. A PID-based control logic was implemented within the PLC to ensure accurate temperature regulation, while integration with the client’s existing SCADA system enabled real-time monitoring and remote control. The project was completed efficiently and in full compliance with QE’s technical and safety standards, resulting in improved system reliability, energy efficiency, and reduced need for manual intervention.
